Jonathan Papelbon Thanks MonaVie following Baseball's Sweetest Victory

[Boston, MA] – November 2007 – Greetings, MonaVie! 2007 was another great year for me and baseball. Although it's an incredibly busy time, I wanted to personally say thank you for providing me with MonaVie this year.

As a closing pitcher in baseball, I'm always looking to gain a competitive advantage throughout the grueling, eight-month-long baseball season. And I can definitely say that I've noticed the benefits my body receives from MonaVie. In fact, many of my teammates have also made MonaVie a part of their daily regimen, and I think the results speak for themselves.

As I've stated in the past, whether it's the product or the business opportunity, MonaVie is a home run...and it's the only home run I'll allow.

Keep delivering the juice, and I'll do my best to keep delivering baseball titles to Beantown!

—Jonathan Papelbon

Free radicals are created in our bodies on a daily basis via cell metabolism.
Free radical production is increased by the following: exposure to sun, pollution, use of tobacco and alcohol, lack of sleep, stress, and intense exercise.
Excessive free radicals in our bodies lead to oxidative stress.
Oxidative stress has been linked to many disease processes including cancer, coronary artery disease, arthritis, inflammation, rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, stroke, Parkinson’s, and Alzheimer’s.
Antioxidants neutralize free radicals in our bodies, thus playing an important role in disease prevention.
The ORAC (oxygen radical absorption capacity) is a measure of an antioxidant’s ability to neutralize free radicals in the body.
Nutritional guidelines recommend a minimum of 4,000 to 5,000 ORAC units per day.
Surveys indicate only 11% of Americans consume a minimum of 5 fruits/vegetables per day.
Five servings of fruits/vegetables yields only 1600 ORAC units, less then 1/2 of the recommend daily ORAC units.
MonaVie is formulated to provide 1,000 ORAC units per 1 oz., higher than any other product available because of the freeze dried Açai found only in MonaVie.
Drinking 4 oz. of MonaVie per day will give you the recommended minimum 4,000 ORAC units our bodies need to neutralize damaging free radicals, control chronic inflammation and oxidative stress, and assist in disease prevention. MonaVie is what our bodies need!
